Hello there fellow class-people. In lieu of our proposed movie marathon, a bunch of us have volunteered to suggest a few possible movie choices. If you see a movie up there that you vehemently feel doesn't quite deserve to be on the list, you can take it up with the relevant parties (not me). On the other hand, if you see a movie that you feel SHOULD be added to the list, by all means, add it to the list and we can open it up for voting.

K, i know this is as last minute as it gets, but to no fault of my own! (No seriously)
Given my culinary expertise and the short time frame, its gonna and gotta be potlucckk! so try to bring something awesome that will compliment some kickass beehoon im bringing

(buses available: 7,61,75,165,156 and other buses which i do not take very often)
stop after pandan valley condo (if youre coming from ulu pandan) or after jelita cold storage (if youre comnig from 6th ave/HollandV)

ill possibly try to grab a movie from jelita while rushing back from church

Hello chingchangs. For once I am deigning to post on this sorry attempt at "class spirit". I shall try not to be long-winded.

Who wants to go back to Thailand in November/December for even more volunteer work? Of course, afterwards we can proceed on to more leisurely activities. Interested people please email/MSN/post comment/verbally tell me only these three things:

1) Which part of the Nov/Dec holidays are you free, and how long you want to stay.

2) What do you want to do there? (I'm not sure everyone shares my enthusiasm for digging trenches and laying bricks.) Can also teach kids and stuff, I think.

3) Where do you want to stay? (Do you prefer the squalid, spartan quarters of the TVC Village, or the comparatively obscenely comfortable Khaolak Orchid, etc?) Bear in mind price differences.

I suppose I will be the overall planner of this nonsense. Any help is welcome. Also, ask if one or two parents can come along. Supervise and chaperone and stuff. If not, my father might come along. And he is not someone you'd want along on a trip like this (think: no beach).

I guess that's all. Now, back to math IA, for which I might have to miss muay thai training tomorrow. Which is a pity, considering doing math really makes me want to hit someone/thing.

Oh and please respond fast fast. Like wind like that. Windriders? Ho ho. Nov/Dec is peak season and stuff so must book early and all that. Otherwise got no plane ticket, then how? Take gryphon?

It's gonna be on friday morning at Sentosa. We're having a picnic potluck so bring some stuff along to share with everybody. The movie thing is optional for everybody. Vivo city. Afternoon. Instead of bringing food (which you still can anyway), there's been the suggestion of ordering pizza or going to Adam Road Hawker Centre (about 10mins walk), so I'll leave it at that unless someone violently objects.

Well, if I had to describe the trip in a word, it'd be "illuminating". We learned a lot of things in Phuket. Some good, some bad, some weird (Yes Melodie, I am referring to you). But all in all, that was a freaking awesome trip.

Ok.... so JChris told me try out another design. A more "Abercrombie and Fitch" (http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/category1_10051_10901_12351_-1_12202) kind of design. A vintage look if you will. The one before is a prototype.

The dude from the shop replied today, he gave me 2 pictures of the hoodies. I think the black one is alot nicer, and I'd probably push for the design to be printed on that one. I'm hoping to see if they have zipper hoodies but I think for 28 bucks the black one is not bad. (The hoodies in the pictures are not new and hence it might look alittle faded.)

Yes, about the class hoodie. Being busy with drama lately, I haven't been able to come up with a new version of the monkey front logo. But hurrah, I've finally (at the expense of econs elasticity essay and the essay about India's car market) (lol, anything at this point of time is more interesting than homework) done a version of it.

I'm hoping this can be a final design cos boy am I tired right now. But in any case, if anyone still has some suggestions of improvements please do (hesitate to?) tell me. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that this can be a final design.

Success! We have finally found a place - Nic's place! To all those niners going to ur history dinner thingy.. you guys can follow nic back to his palace in kembangan. Then the rest of us will just go there and meet up in the mrt station and nic will bring us over to his place.
